The business is an online product shop (mainly original designed t-shirts) that focuses on customers that have body modifications (piercings, tattoos etc) - hence "Modified World".

I already created the main design for the logo, but I would like to have it in a different theme. I was thinking either like an Asian Calligraphy or Water Paining style. Kind of like brush strokes.

My other idea was to have the theme be similar to a Native American Tribal or Hawaiian Tribal look (like the Rock's tattoo). But i'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

*** I couldn't change the title of this contest but the name of this logo is: "The Eudaimonia Principle". The text would probably look good in calligraphy below the design, but remember the design is the most important part.

Side note: the octagon could possibly be replaced by an 'enso circle'.

We have a riverside restaurant in South East Texas. Late April/ Early may we will host a BBQ competition. This will most likely be a IBCA sanctioned event. We would like a logo that incorporates classic BBQ elements. like Texas, Steers, Smoke etc. The logos to choose from didn't really have the lettering we are looking for.....were not interested in any particular font but I have Imagined a script with a sort of tattoo feel to it.

*The name of the business is just "Holy City Rattery" I screwed up the very first question.

I have an up and coming rattery in Charleston, SC (which is also known as the Holy City). I want to use the name Holy City because it's catchy with the area (Holy City Tattooing, Holy City Cupcakes, Holy City Brewery, Holy City Pizzeria, etc.) and it's also intriguing. The rattery, in other words, is a rat breeding business. I plan on having it big in SC and I want the logo to speak volumes about the business.
