- I am a personal financial advisor that specializes in retirement planning for middle class clients. I want my clients to think of me as a trusted family member or friend with good financial skills.
- Instructions：
- I would like my logo to be casual and friendly, but still vibrant and professional. I like neat and natty...almost like Steve Jobs - kind of nerdy, but kind of cool, too - and proud of it. My clients see themsleves as down-to-earth "regular people", and they consider that a point of pride. The logo should appeal to both male and female clients, so it should not be overly masculine. I tend to prefer "rounder", more fluid designs. I like curves more than squared-off straight lines. Here are a few ideas: Idea #1 - The "i" in retirement could be dotted with a star or sun rays (like what's used to show the illumination of a light bulb) Idea #2 - Using the human form or some other symbol of a "regular person" and working it into the curvature of the leading "R". Idea #3 - I like the idea of including a calculator, compass, or some element of money in the design, but this is optional. I've tried to give a lot of guidance here because I have never worked with a design professional before, so I am not sure what's helpful to you. However, you don't need to use any these ideas. If you can come up with something you feel is better, I'm completely open to exploring your creativity. Please include in your design my tag line: Retirement Guidance for the Middle class

Whew! This sure is wearing me out; I’m sure it's wearing you guys out, too (because you’re doing all the HARD work)! Thank you – you are all doing a wonderful job.
A couple of things to note:
1 – my change requests will slow down quite a bit now because I am very happy with certain layouts from each of you, so from here on out you can expect only relatively minor changes to existing designs.
You’re still welcome to submit new designs if you want to, but even if you don’t, please know that I am quite pleased with at least one design each of you has already submitted.
2 - I am not sure how my rankings appear on your screen, but I am no longer ranking all designs against each other. Instead, I am ranking designs relative to other designs submitted by the same designer. This means I will be grouping winxweb’s designs together, followed by abss’s designs, followed by dhe27’s designs. The order of designer does NOT mean anything, but the order within each designer’s portfolio does indicate my preference.
So for example, right now winxweb holds the top three spots; abss holds spots 4 through 9 and dhe27 holds spots 10 through 14. This has NO bearing on whose designs I like best – it’s just a simplified way for me to keep track of everything.
However, it does mean that when it comes to winxweb’s work, I prefer the design in spot #1 to the design in spot #2 and so forth.
-BUT- because many of the designs are very close, please check EACH of your listed designs to see if I have requested revisions. It’s possible that a small tweak to one of your lower ranked designs will be enough to move it to first place.

You are correct....all three designers have done a WONDERFUL job! I know I am very lucky to have three great designers working on my project, and I know that I will be very pleased with the winning design.
I realize the 42 entries shown for this contest are higher than the average (28) for all open contests (in revision stage), but please note that I have already paid the contest fee in FULL, so the contest is not fake - TTo abss:
Thanks for your kind comments. I have NOT yet made a decision, so all three of you are still in the running. What I'm doing right now is narrowing my preferences down to two layouts per designer. Then I will ask my clients to weigh in with their thoughts. In the mean time, I have been playing with each of your top two designs behind the scenes - trying out different color combinations on my own, so I won't have to ask you guys for as many revisions.
Please remember that the overall ranking DOES NOT mean anything because I am arbitrarily scoring them to group them by designer. - WITS OK MAAM/SIR......., ITS MY PLEASURE TO CHANGE ANY REQUEST FOR REVISION.....

2. Eliminate designs that you are “not interested”
3. Please score designs between 1 and 100(best) to help designers know your preferences.
