I would like my logo to be casual and friendly, but still vibrant and professional. 
 
I like neat and natty...almost like Steve Jobs - kind of nerdy, but kind of cool, too - and proud of it. My clients see themsleves as down-to-earth &quot;regular people&quot;, and they consider that a point of pride. 
 
The logo should appeal to both male and female clients, so it should not be overly masculine. 
 
I tend to prefer &quot;rounder&quot;, more fluid designs. I like curves more than squared-off straight lines. 
 
Here are a few ideas: 
 
Idea #1 - The &quot;i&quot; in retirement could be dotted with a star or sun rays (like what&#39;s used to show the illumination of a light bulb) 
 
Idea #2 - Using the human form or some other symbol of a &quot;regular person&quot; and working it into the curvature of the leading &quot;R&quot;. 
 
Idea #3 - I like the idea of including a calculator, compass, or some element of money in the design, but this is optional. 
 
I&#39;ve tried to give a lot of guidance here because I have never worked with a design professional before, so I am not sure what&#39;s helpful to you. However, you don&#39;t need to use any these ideas. If you can come up with something you feel is better, I&#39;m completely open to exploring your creativity. 
 
Please include in your design my tag line: Retirement Guidance for the Middle class

Thank you for the wonderful job you did on my logo. I am a demanding client and the work you created exceeded even my expectations. What you produced was so much better than anything I envisioned when we started this contest. 
 
Your sense of visual design is simply phenomenal; your color suggestions, font selections, and graphics were fantastic. 
 
Additionally, I really want to thank you for the patience and kindness you’ve shown me throughout the revision stage. I asked a lot of you, and you always went “above and beyond” what you had to, and my logo is the better for it.
