- Instructions:
- PLEASE READ EVERY WORD OF THE BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING StudentBody Logo Guidance OCT. 2017 NAME StudentBody Website address if applicable: StudentBody.me Please provide reference images or links to logo styles you like: We LOVE the fonts, colors and play on words ( pun approach) of these specific logos. We’d love to see something like that for Student Body. Rocket Golf, Bar Code, Killed, Horror Films are our favorites. https://assets.awwwards.com/awards/images/2011/12/typeandlogo-08.jpg https://assets.awwwards.com/awards/images/2012/12/best-logo-2013-35.jpg https://assets.awwwards.com/awards/images/2012/12/best-logo-2013-38.jpg https://assets.awwwards.com/awards/images/2012/12/best-logo-2013-26.jpg https://assets.awwwards.com/awards/images/2011/12/typeandlogo-79.jpg These are all eye-catching, unique, simple but bold, and nice colors. What will be the tagline if any? (do not have to include tagline in logo) Engage, Educate, Trust, Heal Specifically describe your field of business: A comprehensive proprietary suite of tech tools (app and web-based) designed and customized to improve the health of college students and reduce overall health costs to colleges and universities. What/Who is your target clientele? College-aged students in the U.S. What colors would you like us to use in your logo? Needs to be original, clean, sleek and professional. Do you want the logo to be text-only, graphic-only, text and graphic together? Both options. Please describe any special type of graphic/icon you desire. College students, health, info, conversation practicing, hip, tech-forward. Describe any ideas you have in mind for your new logo. We don’t want it to read as dated (nothing from circa 1990s or early 2000s) or for a health insurance company. Some things that could work: Icons that represent young adults – should read young, but not too young Simple but fresh We like clever play on words What should come to your customers mind when they see your logo? Trust/reliable/trustworthy Health Fun/Savvy/cool/new best tool/flavor Accurate information Young person appeal Breaking down shame, fear, confusion, stigma Not-judgemental Empowerment Independence/Choice Safe/welcoming/comfort Holistic, comprehensive Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? 1. Kognito -- we like that it’s simple and sleek 2. Maven -- font is nice/modern/easy to read, but don’t love the logo. While simple, we don’t get much from it. 3. Ulifeline - do not like. Font is old, no design, boring, too textbook-like, not inviting 4. SexPositive -- do not like. It’s not a logo Your preferred font style: Sans serif - should be bold enough that it is easy to read on a small screen. We liked the Maven font (see above) - very easy to read
- CThese logos don't appear to be targeting college age students. Also it needs to speak to HEALTH.
