Company Intro：

Blueplate Records is a 20 year old Independent Record label specializing in Dance Music. As founder, I've written, produced, remixed for the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Sia along with host of major and independent talent. The re-launch of Blueplate Records will see a slate of brand new release, along with back catalogue reissues, with a worldwide focus. The label team includes seasoned industry professionals who additionally work with/for other major talent & businesses. The label re-launch will have a strong social media, music industry press focus - so the chosen new logo will have worldwide exposure.

Instructions：

I've been using the same logos for over 15 years and looking for an "update" for the new millennia. I'd like the current designs to be "reinterpreted" for todays' culture and years beyond. You can take some creative license and indulge in shapes, fonts etc that don't mimic or mirror what is currently used, if that is an appropriate course of action for your design style. I currently have 3 variations of the logo. One is a square and the other are rectangles and they have been used according to the application. FOR THE PRICE I AM OFFERING I WOULD LIKE 2 (square and rectangle), AS THEY WOULD BE DERIVATIVE OF EACH OTHER (See attached logos).<br /><br /> Because of the implied name I'd like to stay with a dominant theme of the color blue where necessary. Please note the use of the knife, spoon and fork as elements of the design in what is to look like a turntable. I'd like to see this element included and updated If it can be appropriately executed. The name "blueplate" came from the old school restaurants in department stores that offered low priced food and called them "blueplate specials". Our by-line for the company is "Blueplate Records Servin' it up!"
