We are a private Montessori (alternative education) school for children from infants (1 month old) to adolescents (8th grade). We provide a high standard of education that incorporates natural learning, respect for each child as an individual, and an appreciation for the interconnectedness of each person in the community and in the world. We value and encourage independence, acceptance, diversity and freedom for children to follow their own interests and learn at their own pace. We cater to young professional families with high expectations for alternative schooling for their children. These parents are well-informed, well-educated and well-employed. They believe that children need more than what is offered in traditional public school or child care settings and they are seeking a school that stands out above the rest as being the best place to send their children.

Instructions：

We want a logo that sets us apart from other schools and child care providers, and specifically does NOT look like a daycare logo. Something both academic and prestigious while conveying our Montessori philosophy as described and our organic, nurturing approach to children and education. Some inspirations might include but are not limited to: trees (we have a strong nature-based learning curriculum), dove or symbols of peace, an earth to signify diversity, etc. It would be great to maybe see some kind of Montessori material incorporated into the logo somehow, such as the binomial cube, bead stairs, color tablets or pink tower (images attached). Perhaps a bridge with children growing from infant to adolescent (holding hands? This is optional) These are just some of our brainstorms. We are open to any creative ideas. Though we prefer natural or muted over primary colors, any color scheme is welcome initially to see what we can work with. Ultimately we want something that is truly unique, marketable and easily recognizable that captures the true essence of what our school has to offer.
