Experienced counselors are here to counsel those with alcohol and substance abuse as well as process addictions, such as Internet addiction, compulsive lying, compulsive shopping and gambling.<br><br>Drug Rehabilitation – Intensive Treatment and Relapse Prevention<br><br>At Fortis Treatment Centers you start by evaluating your past choices and examining the consequences of your addictive behavior in order to understand, make changes, and receive the tools you will need to begin a new life with confidence.<br><br>Be prepared to work hard. You will participate in intensive individual therapy, psychiatric evaluation and alternative forms of addiction treatment within a structured living environment.<br><br>From 8:30AM until 5:00PM you will participate in activities and therapies such as art therapy, recreational therapy, yoga, physical education and training, cognitive counseling, anger management, life skills, EMDR, spiritual counseling, behavioral therapy, rationale emotive therapy and psychodrama groups. In the evenings, you will be attending 12 Step Support Groups.<br><br>Periodically you will also participate in special exercises such as a contemplation labyrinth, community barbeques, holiday celebrations, recovery egg experience, Recovery Olympics and peaceful place activities to expand team building activities and your therapeutic experience at Fortis Treatment Centers.
