Company Intro：

We're a scrappy church community that meets in a small performance venue and coffee shop. We don't believe a traditional church building with a steeple and pews is necessary for experiencing God. The informality of our meeting space speaks to a more open style of communication that we embrace at CT, a dialogue rather than a monologue.

Instructions：

Our existing logo (below, that's a chalice with wine and a loaf of bread) was sketched out on a whiteboard one day by one of our own to help friends from our church locate a meeting room during a retreat weekend. It is part of a story in the life of our church and this rough little sketch speaks to our organic way of approaching church. <br><br>We are open to a revision of our current logo that retains the rough, hand-drawn style or to a complete overhaul with a different direction. Either way, we would like our final logo to capture the spirit of the ideas expressed here and in our business brief.<br><br>We are looking for something kinda fax proof that looks good "white on black" as well as "black on white". We might be open to using colors, but would probably like rich/muted ones. We're less interested in lots of detail and more interested in a strong bold or perhaps minimalist image, with some text near it. <br><br>We don't have any specific ideas about what kind of font we'd like, but we would like to know the name of the font you use at the end of the process.
