Maybe some sort of picture/icon that depicts a simple network. Like just four circles or boxes connected in a (partial) mesh. For inspiration you can do a Google search for BGP and/or as-path and look at the images.

A big thanks to all designers! This was a hard choice because the logos were all very nice and of high quality. From the first day I liked the logo that I have selected as winner so I will work with the winning designer to get to the final logo. But I just wanted to thank everyone for the great logos and all the effort that must have gone into them. Thanks!
