UnicornYard (UY) is a company that helps to bring a dash of magic to people's everyday. We will be building up an authority website about Unicorns. Site will have general information about unicorns, about unicorn products and topics connected with unicorns - so all the unicorn magic. Our target audience are teenager/young girls, they can be something aroun 13-30. However in bigger perspective we want to deveope the site with the actual brand from here with the cool trademark - later on with our own style of streetwear, toys or trending/popular products for youngsters. Logo needs to have coolness factor X (to make it DESIRABLE), simplicity and easy to remember - it needs to have from the first glimpse the idea we are about unicorns (so the unicorn head, unicorn itself, unicorn horn etc need to be in the logo) and we would prefer to have the logo and logo with brand name. Brand name is shorten as UY. Logo needs to be simple enough to make some additions if we wish (for example: UY KIDS collection, or UY FUN-collection etc.) Colors need to be also in a remembered way- only few of them, as well works in black and white. Even though we want girls to be involved then baby pink is not the way for us, however some neutral/pastel/nude/peach/coral pink can be one very nice option we are thinking could work for us.

They are after a logo that is bright, happy and fun, yet it needs to be simple at the same time.

Scrap's is the name of the dog, which is the face of the company. So we need to come up with a cartoon type face for Scrap's to appear in the logo. Eventually, they want to turn this face into a costume, that will be worn by someone to greet people as they walk into the shop, or to stand on the side of the road, waving to kids as they drive past.

In regards to colours, they want a purple background, as their feature colour. But after that, they want to try and keep it relatively simple. Maybe just black a white, or grey and white text. There is the potential to bring in another feature colour, that could be used for Scap's head etc. But the logo can't be too busy.
