We would like a brand that can be reach both people and companies. We would like a playful detail on the letters and an icon that can be use individually. We are all females in the company as well, so something with a delicate touch ;)
We were thinking on having a star (something bright, that shines and brings light) that can play along with the brand. 
Regarding colors we are open to  all and we would like our brand to have at least 2 different colors on it or more.

I want my company name with a palm tree because my business is based out of the Florida Gulf Coast area.  I want it simple and this logo will go on my mailer postcards, my business cards and my website.  All of those will have white or light colored backgrounds and the logo itself should not need more than 3 colors.

The name of the salon is a play on Minnie Mouses Job “Minnies Bowtique” where she manufactures hair bows. (Please see YouTube)  Mimi is my daughter. I want it nice and clean not busy, easy to read. Contemporary, sheik. Some pink. A bow. Some Minnie Mouses details but not the actual character. The main idea is hair bows like Minnie Mouse.
