Sleek design, mostly with 1 color but i'm happy to see any other approaches.

We like bright colors. Simple designs that aren’t to busy. Family Force to be the “main attraction” when looking at the logo.

I would prefer a simple logo in abstract style. I think it can include a chart, trends or other elements you find suitable.

It would be nice to have simple and memorable logo. 
You might try the color scheme and fonts of this university www.hsu-hh.de, however, this is not obligatory.

We need our logo to be branded consistent to that of the South Bend School Corporation and the Alumni Association (both attached), but still be distinguished from them.  It is also important that the logo somehoe convey that we raise funds to support academics in South Bend Schools.  I have also attached our current logo FYI.
