This logo will be the central piece of a podcast cover. This logo will also be used on social media and many other forms of digital communications. It needs to have that versatility to be able to fit those different scenarios. We do NOT WANT A GUN on the cover in any way. But the podcast is about mothers who lost their sons to gun violence. If you can find a tasteful way to present that in the logo without the presence of a gun, that would be excellent. This podcast will be VERY emotional. but the design should be sleek, modern, with a cultural twist.
