We want to have KPC as the main logo element, but we have always replaced the letter P with a micrometer to indicate precision.  We could still do that, or some other way to indicate the idea of precise and accurate work.
ALSO, we want this logo to be wider than it is tall so that it will work nicely in the banner of a website.   The attached file is one of the crappy looking ideas we came up with to show you what we roughly have in mind.  But of course, you will make it look much nicer: )   The use of a metallic looking texture would potentially be interesting. 

We are open to color ideas, although black / silver / blue has been our historic (and maybe too boring? ) choice.

Very responsive and came up some ideas for great variations we had not requested.... which turned out to be the one we picked.  Nice job, and great experience working with rian38.
