Rye is the oldest settlement in Westchester, NY - founded in 1660. We have a city government but a small-town feel in terms of the community. We are a very social and spirited group, and want to have a modern logo that will help attract and represent us. Rye is a picturesque city on the NY coastline. We pride ourselves on our beautiful public beach and town park on the water (picture attached). We are also the home of the famous Playland Amusement Park (featured in the movie "Big"). We'd like a logo that's modern, easy to read, and will be a nice addition to our marketing and invitations - something easy to print and use on our materials. We'd like something mature but will evoke a warm, communal feeling.
