•	This logo is the first phase of branding for a new blog called:

ESCAPE with your.LIFE
A Rookies Guide for Pre-Seniors

•	I’ve looked at thousands of logos across the internet for my swipe file.  For this project I believe that pulling various examples for designers may actually limit their creativity rather than guide it. So I’ve only added a few examples.

Trust my description. Read it carefully - twice.  And... go for it!

•	The first impression should make people smile –this is a fun exploration of serious life strategies.
•	It needs to be mobile format friendly – ie: compact, not a banner, more like a plaque or shield.
•	Could evoke a classic chest logo for a superhero – strong simple graphics. Imagine it on a tee-shirt.

•	SUGGESTION: In the centre is a person standing defiantly, chest out, arms crossed, hair on fire but no fear in their expression. Gender neutral will be a challenge, but not impossible. Or, two versions will rotate on the web site.
•	Iconic 
•	Dynamic, implied imminent action
•	Limited colour pallette – b &amp; w character, colour for hair on fire, and the typography
o	must also work as a black and white image

Name is broken into 2 or 3 lines:
o	“ESCAPE”   “with your .LIFE”
o	or,  “ESCAPE”  “with”  “YOUR .LIFE”

•	Could ultimately design various versions of close-ups of the head and/or hair of the character as design elements for other media like video transitions, title slugs, etc.
•	May also eventually lead to a logo with only the character and the word: “ESCAPE”

•	REMEMBER: Keep it fun!
