It needs to look good in color and in Black and white.  A clear background is a must as the theme changes each year and it needs to last for a while.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;NO OPEN BOOKS.  This is a cliche with libraries.  It has been done.  Libraries are about more than book and we are about libraries as a whole.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am attaching the Reaching Forward Logo which is the northern version of our program.  WE DO NOT want our logo to look like this.  It&#39;s good, simple, gets the idea across, but we are a separate entity and need to stand out as such.  I am also attaching our old log for an idea of what we had in the past.

They not only did a great job on our logo, they let us have both versions.  Super fast and willing to make changes (though none were needed).  They paid attention to what other designers were doing that we liked, and made alternate versions of the logo based on those.  Over all this was another great experience.  Artbin deserves all the wins they have.
