The Emerson Project
This is a consulting service for families whose children are diagnosed with cancer, autoimmune diseases, or in need of a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. I am a Pediatric oncology nurse. Emerson is a 2 year old boy who is a family friend and is the inspiration for this project. We look at helping families understand diagnosis, terminology and coach them through different stages of the treatment cycle that their child will start. Em is a sweet little blonde hair blue eyed boy.<br>Above the healthcare aspect, we will look at different ways to ensure the family home is the safest place for the child to be- rather than the hospital. This include house cleaning, duct cleaning, removal of any potential allergens, etc,- $129
