I like simple and clean logos.  I also like logos that incorporate design to tell the story of what the company is about.  For instance in the sample logos I chose &quot;The Augustine&quot; logo as it appears that this is a boat company of some sort.  I&#39;d like to visually illustrate the word &quot;Smaller&quot; in our name somehow.  I&#39;m not sure how, but that is the challenge.  A splash of color would be nice, but keep the palate to 3 or so maximum.  I&#39;m likely putting this logo on a white background so please no all &quot;white&quot;.  I&#39;d also like the finishing product to be scalable both up and down without granulation.
