See the attachments; my logo scheme for the last decade -- the book resembles documentation, while the top hat is a nod to the City Beautiful Movement in urban planning during the turn of the 20th Century. I want to maintain the same color scheme with the same shades of purple and green, along with the gray and black. I need a logo that&#39;s more &quot;slick&quot; and less kitschy and cartoonish than what I currently have (which is clip art I modified). I&#39;d like it to emulate strength, professionalism, and reliability in a classic, timeless motif....my clients are city planners, government officials, and publishers -- a rather serious, professional, and well-behaved group. I&#39;d prefer to keep the presence of the top hat in the logo, but it can be toned down a bit -- and the presence of &quot;documentation&quot; also in the logo -- see what your creativity can do! I&#39;d like a macro version of the logo with the company name, but the logo icon should be able to also stand alone to identify the company.

Very good job, superb logo. I was amazed about how you were dialed into what the business was about from the beginning. Continue learning the art of kerning, it&#39;s an important part of this process. Your talent with grahics, in a business sensibility, are remarkable. Thank you for your efforts and work!
