I&#39;m really trying to stay away from the simple traditional scales and gavels unless they can be incorporated in such a way as the photo attached into an owl. I guess you could say I&#39;m looking for an intimidating owl. Right now a simple lined black and white logo will suffice, colors can be modified. If you can find a creative way to incorporate the state of Kentucky that could potentially help your chances. I plan on using this logo as branding, it will be on my letterhead, any billboards, business cards, you name it. This could be your chance to get your work noticed.

Great job on my logo. Took my idea and made much better than I imagined. Thanks for working with me with the color variations and sizes. I hope I wasn&#39;t to much trouble.
