I was thinking the Ready should be in red ink and maybe mate in blue. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My wife is of Chinese origin - hence red is her favourite colour and I&#39;m a true blue Aussie hence the Blue! However I am happy to see what someone else can think up. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Incidentally, my favourite logos above feature Fresh Greens, Vibrant Blue, Strong/light Grays. And now I think those are more modern and associated with cleanliness freshness and a better choice for our business.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I do not have the skills to do a polished logo. Something that is memorable and easily recognised. Strong and sound. I like the mowing logos on fourth row in particular property worx - boxes to give a visual indication of the type of work we do.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have included a few of the logos that I&#39;ve played with but they are not quite right and need to be more precise. That may be very hard i know because we are aiming for a broad range of work. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ive seen research where they say people more easily relate to a simple object like an animal or apple for instance and a friendly dog would not be out of the question. HOWEVER, THE THUMBS UP SEEMS TO BE THE BEST BET AT THE MOMENT. THE THUMBS UP INCORPORATED INTO THE A’S IS GREAT.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We are a partnership - Al Haynes &amp; Juan Zhang. I love the parts of the lake with crystal clear water and sandy bottoms The water varies in colour around the lake from medium blues to aqua blues. Plenty of green leafy suburbs surrounding us. Mate is a common term for friend or bloke or buddy or someone who you don&#39;t know the name of - Gday mate. not as in sexual mating! &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;workers often associated with blue collars are working class men. LIVING IN NSW AND BEING A SUPPORTER OF RUGBY LEAGUE I HAVE TO CHOOSE BLUE OVER MAROON COLOUR AS LIGHT BLUE AND DARK BLUE MY STATES COLOURS.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I was thinking with the variety of services I offer that the logo may have four or so boxes – MAYBE TEN!  with a simple image to depict the type of work i do such as home care - home with hands, yard work such as mower - I&#39;ve seen some good ones where the mower is going through long grass and short grass behind or next to the mower. tech support / communications or teaching image - I&#39;m trying to do an online booking system and teaching people how to access tech in their home and an aged care image - an elderly person being helped. others are cooking showing a steaming hot plate of food or frypan, washing line, electrical work - maybe i need a dozen boxes?? maybe they are for the website and a simpler image that says it all for the logo. good luck please give it some thought.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I dont necessarily want logo to pidgeon hole us to houses only as commercial may be more lucrative and ongoing work. so something with a hint of a house and tall building outline with something associated with cleaning and maintenance and caring in foreground?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Alternatively, a tidy up of the thumbs up with three or four boxes indicating our services around it. In Australia a thumbs up isn&#39;t aggressive or rude, it means all good mate or it is OK. or good work. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The thumbs up could be one of the small boxes, e.g.. thumb, hammer or battery drill, lawnmower, cleaning or clothes line or basket, iPad.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Maybe a clock face as time is associated with ready and symbols around the face. however they would have to be simple and easy recognisable when small. maybe a hint of a clock face in background. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I thought I should have one letter of the name be a little different for branding. e.g.. the A of mAte as a capital but smaller font or one or more letters in shape of something to associate with work we do but still recognisable to pronounce the name correctly. THE THUMBS UP IN THE A’S WORKS WELL.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;MORE DETAILS&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Very smart  TO HAVE “WE&#39; IN FRONT OF READY - I HONESTLY DIDNT THINK OF THAT and when i first saw it i didn&#39;t realise what was done, I automatically read We&#39;re Ready mate and We&#39;re A mate and we&#39;re helping people.&lt;br&gt;Meshing the y in the ready with the m in mate is clever I think.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;With the two thumbs up in the A&#39;s , Maybe if they both leaned out in alignment with the slope of the side of the A would be better with the fingers parallel to the side so each thumb pointing out. Ie rotate image in the A don&#39;t change the image rotate the red A thumb anticlockwise about 10 degrees and the thumb in the blue A clockwise about 10 degrees.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;my domain is Wearereadymate.com.au.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I had thought of we&#39;re readymate.com.au but you can&#39;t have the punctuation mark in a domain name and WERE means WAS, so i thought that &quot;Was readymate&quot; possible interpreted meaning is not the message i wanted to convey!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Maybe another A set centred behind the WE&#39;RE and maybe a little faded in background so it is subtle.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;People can the read &#39;WE ARE&#39; OR &#39;WE&#39;RE&#39; or &#39;A READY MATE&#39; or &#39;WE&#39;RE A READY MATE&quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;i could possibly use werereadymate.com.au and direct it to my other we are readymate.com.au site which i have not opened yet.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;re icons:&lt;br&gt;THE THUMBS AND FISTS need to be genuine and not clip art common generic.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If i decided to choose a layout for the icons i would say outdoors categories on top - sunshine&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;and indoor categories on bottom.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am still considering whether round or two rows one above horizontal and one above horizontal. And maybe wrapping around the end of the name.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I COULD SEE THAT I WOULD LIKE HOW IN #12 THE THREE ICONS ABOVE THE MATE and then there on the end one above the other and then few more along the bottom may work for me. i like how they are nice and tightly integrated into the name and not crowding.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;thanks for reading and I trust you can help me find an authentic and original design that is both smart and memorable, scalable to small or large and identifiable in black and white as well as in three or four colours and maybe a simpler version in 2 or three colours and less icons to depict indoors and outdoors, homes, tidy and maintenance as primarily handyman, electrician, washing &amp; cleaning and lawns.&lt;br&gt;good luck&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have extended for two days to get more designers involved and to allow those who have designed so far to improve and improvise to win me over. cheers Al&lt;br&gt;

Honestly, Filip has been excellent, polite, professional and extremely helpful throughout the design process. I changed my business name twice throughout and changed my mind about so many things and this man is so tolerant and responding intuitively and at lightning fast speed.
