What we do Small hobby farm selling honey Ideas & concepts We’re selling rare honey and are searching for a sophisticated/elegant packaging label for our honey jars. At the moment we haven’t a special logo. The label is going to be the basic for our little companys’ brand. We would like to get proposals for a design that reflects our focus on small scale, quality and delicious natural food. One logo we like is: http://www.apishive.com/archives/840 We prefer logos on a foil, but it looks even good on brown or craft paper. Surely that is just an example for want we like. Of course, we are open-minded to other ideas and designs. The Information which should be written on the label is: Griesheimer Honig Haus -> our brandname Honig -> means “honey” abgefüllt von: -> written in smaller letters, means: produced by Name -> means: name Straße -> means: street PLZ/Stadt -> means: town; the complete address will be given in the end of the contest. As a seal we need a small stripe approx. 25mm x 100mm with the date bbe (best before end) and the net weight. Nothing special but in the same design. Maybe we can talk after the contest. Here you can find a sample picture of the jars we actually use http://www.hodum.com/glaeser/glaeser-detailansicht/produktid/59.html Please notice that we need a layered Vector file and a JPG min. 600dpi. • The color system must be CMYK (important!). • Total Ink Coverage 280%. • Trimming edge 3mm. • We need two label sizes: o one for small jars: 50 mm x 72 mm o one for large jars: 78 mm x 105 mm. For printing on a transparent foil a (full tone) layer for covering areas with bright colours is needed. Otherwise the honey will shine through and the color is not so bright. Maybe we can talk more detailed after the contest. Now we are very curious and looking forward for your amazing ideas. Thanking you in anticipation and last but not least have fun! Update: I posted a link where you can see my race of the bees I have. (http://members.aon.at/carnica-brandstaetter/koenigin.htm carnica)

Hi Scriotx I uploaded a file yesterday. Its a little bitt mixed between 18 & 8 not so many combs on the border between Glass / label.

    Hi Scriotx,
thats it now the label is finished. How can I give you my real address, post it here?
For the seals the labelsize is 72x105 can you put 5 side by side (72x20). Can the combs be continous in the background, this would be easier for cutting.
  • scriotx12 years ago
I believe you should select first the winner, before sending/posting your personal address here.

By the way what do mean by "put 5 side by side (72x20)" & " the combs be continous in the background"???

    Kindly elaborate it clearly.

    Thanks

    Hi Scriotx,
I select the winning design. Its you. Congratulations and thanks for your changes.
I loaded a new Picture for the seals. The seals will be printed on paper. I will print 5 an cut it by myself. For this are the marks.
On one sheet I will print 500g, 500g. 250g empty, empty for filling with a pen.
Around there will be still 3mm for cutting needed. Thanks for your changes in advance
