Maybe use 2 contrast colours max - NOT Red and Black (if you think that more colours work with your idea that is fine too,) 
 
Lowercase with a block figure holding a spade over shoulder in one hand and a tool box in the other 
 
Please no houses and hammers as this reflects building which is not our business
