GROW (God Renewing our Women) is the title of our Ladies Ministry at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, IN.
Our Ladies Ministry is not limited by our faith - we have Wine & Dine events, social gatherings, service projects, etc. Think of this as a ladies social sorority that is simply an extension of the church.
Currently, we do not have a formal logo but seem to incorporate Gerbera daisies into most of our correspondence. We like the reference of GROW as it relates to flowers. Colors are currently black, bright pink and bright green - open to suggestions or expanding that color pallette to include a few more colors or patterns (stripe, polka dot, chevron, etc).
We will want this logo to be used on postcards, newsletters, email correspondences, etc.

Something very young, fresh and bold - we are trying to appeal to a wide range of ladies (ages 18-108), so keeping it very trendy will help to gain new interest and will spark interest in the girlfriends we already have. This logo will help brand our GROW ministry to ladies within the church and encourage new ladies from outside the congregation to join us too, so it should be eye-catching and feminine enough to recognize as a ladies group.

Would like to make a recommendatio to all designers - could we do a more abstract version of a Gerbera daisy with a bold (but stil legible) font for GROW? Loving what I'm seeing - but would really like to something a bit more stylized and a tad abstract. Green, pink and black are current colors - but feel free to incorporate other bold colors, if design supports it (yellow, purple, teal, etc.) Thank you!

Also, please keep in mind this will logo will be used in various church announcements, so it must look good at a reducsed size...must look good with white background, etc.

There is just a bit of time left on this contest - great designs so far! I'm surprised that only one artist chose to incorporate a cross - anyone else out there feeling like they want to incorporate a religious symbol? I'm open to it, if it keeps the logo looking fresh and helps portray who we are. Thank you!!!
