It will be a website and magazine. So our "logo" will need to work as a website logo and a masthead for a magazine. We are thinking about more of a type treatment that has a design element built into it. Like a symbol or icon that is part of the type treatment. I am open to serif or sans serif. I would love a custom looking type treatment that says music somehow. I dont really want a huge music note or anything but maybe incorporated into the logo somehow, or not. We are really open to anything that looks fresh. Since this is an older market you could even go with a retro feel. But it should look like it is suppose to be retro and not actually an old looking logo. The idea is CCM forever so maybe play with the infinity symbol somehow or some symbol that means timeless. We still want to have a "now" look since we are dealing with older artist that are still performing and touring. Its retro music but of today. All colors are welcome except bold aggressive ones like black and red or black and yellow. Think modern spiritual music.

Yes Lorrin it will change with whatever cover image it is over. I would love to have a color palette to choose from so i can change it when I need to. Probably two versions would work, a dark one for light background and a light one for dark backgrounds.

All the submissions have been great. Thank you everyone. I still need a few that are horizontal and forever is the same size as CCM. If there is some way to make an element go all the way through the words and really hold the two words together. Or maybe a container that hold them. Just got to really think about a magazine header. Again it can be a font treatment only, but it needs to be one that stands out some way. I just don't want helvetica bold. I can do that myself. Some style to it, maybe two fonts that work well together. Maybe as simple as a cool font and a box around it. Just dont feel llike you have to use a symbol. Thanks guys and girls
