Machiavelli is a chic apparel company, focusing on stylish street/casual wear for the 18 – 35 year old male demographic.
Instructions：
This is an upper market brand, the logo needs to reflect classic, exclusive and timeless feel.
The logo will be be used as the centrepoint print on t-shirts, caps and apparel goods.
Please see attached current first draft of logo. The logo needs to reflect its current draft state as the foundation of the design.
DESIGN NOTES;
Alterations required are for the design (motif) part of the logo, as a priority.
(Alterations to the ‘machiavelli’ brand lettering is not a priority, although feel free to implement changes that you feel may compliment or reflect your logo design. If you decide to alter the lettering, we ask that you keep a similar style of font currently being used, to portray the classic and exclusive feel.)
DESIGN BRIEF;
The motif requires a slightly bolder and more masculine feel, although not 100% male dominated as the company will transition into the female clothing market.
The M within the motif needs to be more prominent and recognisable as an M, but keeping its olden style. (M is currently disconnected through the top and middle character strokes, it needs to be more recognisable as an M).
The design behind the M needs to be bolder and less curvy/whispy, once again representing a more masculine feel. Please see the ‘parchment’ font family as this is where the original design came from.
Please use only the colours: black & white.
