DESIGNS (538)
- Logo Name:
- melo
- Company Intro:
- melo is a workwear / work clothing shop (Arbeitskleider-Shop) based in Chur, Switzerland. We sell durable work apparel such as jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, pants and crew/uniform-style clothing. The brand should feel like a modern workwear retailer/brand—quality, durable, reliable—not like a corporate industrial supplier. Target audience: Tradespeople and crews (construction, workshop, logistics, service teams) Small businesses that outfit employees (team/crew wear) Workwear + streetwear crossover customers who want durable clothing that also looks good People who value quality and longevity over cheap online options Where the logo will be used: Merch: T-shirts, hoodies, jackets (small chest + large back prints) Embroidery (caps, beanies, patches) Store signage (clean and readable) Website + social media Labels/hangtags/packaging Stickers: we want to create cool sticker designs featuring working people (e.g., trades/crew vibes) combined with the melo logo/mark.
- Instructions:
- Brand name: melo (always lowercase) Optional leadline/tagline: Workwear Store · Chur Style direction We want a minimal, modern, timeless identity with a mix of: Carhartt vibe: robust, industrial, label/patch-ready Burton vibe: clean, minimal, premium No gradients, no shadows, no 3D effects. The design must be production-friendly. Colors (fixed) Warm sun yellow (approx. Pantone 130 C direction) Working value: CMYK 0 / 30 / 100 / 0 Black (100K) White (for negative versions) Rule: The logo must work perfectly in 1-color (black-only or white-only). Yellow is a signature color, but not mandatory in every application. Core logo concept (must-have) We want a strong icon/mark plus a clean wordmark: Icon: an abstract geometric “m” symbol (not a normal letter “m”), like a brand stamp. Suggested structure: an “M-stamp” built from 3 vertical blocks/pillars with a distinct central notch, so it reads as an “m” but works as a standalone symbol. Wordmark: melo in a clean modern sans/grotesk style (lowercase, neutral but strong). Two icon styles to explore (please provide both) Icon A — sharp/industrial: hard corners, 90° feel (more workwear) Icon B — rounded/clean: same geometry, slightly rounded corners (more premium minimal) Lockups (must be modular) We need the icon and wordmark to be fully combinable: Horizontal lockup: icon left + melo right (for signage/header) Stacked lockup: icon above + melo below (for chest prints, square stickers, labels) Optional store lockup: add workwear store · chur as a small line below (only when needed) Secondary version (for stickers/patches) Please also create a label/box version (workwear patch logic): Yellow box with black icon + melo Black box with yellow icon + melo (night version) Optional small text: workwear store (Chur optional) Sticker direction We want a sticker system that feels collectible and brand-driven: Stickers featuring working people / crew / trades vibes (illustration or bold graphic style) combined with the melo icon and/or wordmark. The logo must be simple enough to sit on top of these sticker visuals without getting lost. Stickers should work in 1–2 colors (black/yellow/white), so they’re affordable and consistent. Production constraints (non-negotiable) Must remain clean at small sizes (approx. 8–12 mm for embroidery/labels) Avoid thin lines and tiny enclosed details Must work for screen print/transfer/embroidery/debossing Deliverables Vector: SVG (minimum), plus AI/EPS if possible PNGs (transparent) in multiple sizes Variations: black on white, white on black, yellow on black, black on yellow Icon-only files + horizontal + stacked lockups Short mini guide: clear space, minimum size, color values

ATTENTION: “It’s not just a wordmark. We need a logo system consisting of: a standalone icon/mark (abstract ‘m’ stamp) and the wordmark ‘melo’ (lowercase). Both must work together and separately.”
Dear designers, thank you very much for your efforts and the many designs. Since I know exactly what the logo should look like, I am relatively quick at selecting and evaluating them. Please read the briefing carefully and don't forget the lead line. (Workwear Store . Chur). And don't forget that this is a workwear store with brands such as Carhartt, Dickies, and Snickers. Also, keep in mind that I will be using the logo on customer cards, stickers, and merchandise. It should work everywhere and just look cool. All designs rated with stars will be shortlisted—I will have to narrow down the selection as I go along. Thanks again and happy designing.Open design concept stage had ended with 538 submissions from 104 designers.
