- Logo Name:
- The French Cooking Experience
- Company Intro:
- The French Cooking Experience is an atelier offering cooking classes to a wide range of clients, from corporate team-building classes to children's classes. The target audience is anyone wanting to learn classical French cooking techniques from experienced professional chefs, but looking for a more upscale experience. We are geared more towards tourists and visitors looking to explore French history and who have a love for classical French cuisine. Our classes take place in the heart Versailles, a short walk away from the famous Palace, and from the celebrated Versailles food market. The classes offered will include a visit to the food market to learn how to select ingredients and craft recipes around the best products available each season. The atelier itself is inspired by the Versailles Palace, the interior being both welcoming and luxurious, with an entrance inspired by the Versailles Gardens and kitchens inspired by famous rooms within the Palace. As a special note, children's classes will be accompanied by a mascot who teaches the children about the history of Versailles in a child-friendly way. We therefore want to maintain an esthetic that is polished and luxurious but that remains warm, as opposed to intimidating.
- Instructions:
- Attached are SVG files of the logo we have designed as inspiration for the F in The French Cooking Experience. Please note that the logo should maintain if not a gold f, at the very least gold within the design. The logo should be clean, reflect luxury and warmth, and be easily recognizable as a stand-alone brand. The logo should be easy to use on a wide variety of colors, as well as easy to print (and see) on chef's uniforms, children's aprons, and buttons, as well as on other standard merchandise and the business website. It should also be easy to be embroidered onto uniforms and aprons. We are looking for simplicity with an elegant touch. Elements that could be included would be those typically associated with either cooking or Versailles. However, please note restrictions around using designs which would be subject to the approval of French authorities, which we will be unable to obtain. We also have eliminated the use of the fleur-de-lys, or other overused designs associated with France. We would like to have the F be more polished, elegant and clear, with particular attention to the ladle at the bottom. We are, however, open to other alternatives as long as they have the same spirit/feel. Following submissions, we would like to clarify that the F is intended to be blended into the text of the logo, and not as a stand-alone element that goes above or before the text "The French Cooking Experience".
