- Logo Name:
- You Accepting You
- Company Intro:
- My client is launching a new Self Acceptance Coaching practice called “You Accepting You.” Her work is professional, warm, caring, serious yet fun — think “Mary Poppins: she means business, but she’ll sing you a song too.” Her approach is all about guiding clients to solve their own problems — it’s not airy or cliché, but also not cold and corporate. She wants her brand to be modern, playful, and memorable without being juvenile. It’s important that the logo feels human, personal, and like it was thoughtfully designed — not something generic or slapped together with clip art.
- Instructions:
- PROJECT OVERVIEW: My client needs a logo for her Self Acceptance Coaching brand. This logo should capture her brand personality: professional, approachable, organic (but not hippie), and distinctly hers. It should stand out from the common “life coach” logos (no trees of life, lotus flowers, or abstract stick figures reaching for stars). The logo may feature either the full name “You Accepting You,” the abbreviation “YaY,” or a combination / option for both. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Brand Alignment: The logo should convey my client’s coaching style — modern, warm, playful but serious, natural but not crunchy. It should avoid typical life coaching clichés and feel understated yet memorable. Colors: She has provided the following color palette. Please keep in mind that the logo should look great in color and also be recognizable in black & white. - Soft Lavender: #a78bc4 - Off-White: #fcffff - Bright Teal: #00c3c4 - Muted Blue-Grey: #70939c - Deep Charcoal: #1c2430 - Lime Green: #c1dc7a Fonts: Feel free to choose fonts that compliment the logo, but keep the following in mind when choosing them. - Avoid cursive, overly playful (like Comic Sans or Simpsons-style), bubble letters, or fonts that resemble balloon animals. - She prefers simple, clean typefaces — something in the spirit of Helvetica, though not necessarily Helvetica itself (it can be boring or too street-sign-like). - Avoid prominent, overly decorative serifs (like Times New Roman) — a little character is okay, but no dramatic lowercase g “baseball hats.” - The font should ensure the logo is legible at both small and large sizes. Text Elements: The logo must include either: - The full brand name: "You Accepting You", or - The abbreviation: "YaY", or - A creative combination or option for both. The tagline is still evolving, so please do not include a tagline in the logo. Graphical Emblem: My client is open to having a symbol or icon alongside the text. She’s drawn to logos where a symbol is recognizable on its own (like the Target bullseye, Dropbox box, or Chase folded icon), though she knows it may not reach that iconic level — and that’s okay. - Avoid obvious butterflies (abstract would be okay), puzzle pieces, stick figures, cutout people holding hands, lotus flowers, and tree of life imagery. She does not want these in her logo. - Absolutely no clip-art style graphics — it should look custom, fresh, and intentional. Style Keywords: - Modern - Playful (but not childish) - Understated elegance - Organic, human, professional - Warm and trustworthy File Formats: The final logo should be provided in the following formats: - .AI (Adobe Illustrator) – two versions: (1) Version with font files rasterized/as paths; and (2) Version with the fonts not rasterized - .PNG (Transparent background) - .JPG (High resolution) Color Variations: We need full color, black, and white versions of the final logo. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Please ensure that you read and understand the brief before submitting your designs. Any submissions that do not adhere to the brief will not be considered. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out. We are excited to see your creative ideas and look forward to choosing a design that best represents my client's self acceptance coaching brand. Thank you, and good luck!
