We&#39;re open to ideas!  Keep in mind this is an indie label that is looking for stuff that isn&#39;t necessarily mainstream.  We are indifferent to what major labels thinks is marketable.  And we are style agnostic ... if it sounds good, it doesn&#39;t matter if it&#39;s rock, pop, jazz, Celtic, scream-o, opera ... or any crazy combination that works!<br />

I guess we&#39;re trying to avoid a logo that&#39;s too intricate or has too many colors.  Has to look good and be recognizable whether big or small, color or b&amp;w.  Edgy and unpolished could be good ... but not too abstract.<br />

Clarice nailed it.  We really liked a lot of the designs submitted (props to HNA.5) ... but then Clarice&#39;s later submission with the record logo really struck a chord with everyone!  (Pun intended.)  Thanks Clarice!
