Company Intro：

This business is web-based and will be (has already begun with a blog called Bits of Pippa) a way to profile Calaveras County (people, places, and businesses) and life building a family compound (will touch on gardening, fermentation, preservation etc... and will all tie backs to climate etc. for the County).

Instructions：

Vibrant, fun, colorful, and inviting a conversation. There will be a lot of humor involved so I want to make sure the logo isn't too serious. I am a 63-year-old woman who is trying to create conversations that will inspire people to rewire rather than retire and I will be doing so through the sharing of my third chapter adventures, triumphs, etc...I have brownish-gray hair, 5'5", a bit overweight, short curly hair, brown eyes, and a smile that is a bit mischievous. I think the logo needs to include a caricature of me. I grew up rurual, lived super urban for most of my adult life, and have returned to absolute rural to be near my kids and grandkids and support them and build a collaborative and sustainable community. There is plenty of humor here: I am a super liberal living in a conservative county for the first time (think Berkeley meets Alabama), I will soon be buying my first gun ever (that will be interesting), and I have swapped nonprofit work attire for jeans and shit-kickers (have 5 acres to work including a vineyard that I am working in). I have been a : professional classical flutist, professor, business owner, author (My Life as a Pancreas), mother of two boys, stay-at-home mom, nonprofit leader (most recently headed up a senior center that was more like a university). I began life in Hartford, CT near Mark Twain's house and am now living in Angels Camp, CA where Mark Twain's career started. Feels like going full circle. That's my brain dump and I am sticking with it! :) I hope this is enough to go on!
