The middle 2 medical academy (Middle2Md.com) is a program for parents and their Black and brown students who aspire to become doctors. We offer 6-week summer and winter camps with advanced medical-school level classes for grades 5-8 and 9-12 that are taught in highly engaging and interactive ways by actual Black doctors and assisted by Black medical students that are graduates of the academy. The academy is a community where kids meet other aspiring doctors like themselves, where parents get resources to help advocate for their children from middle school all the way through medical school, and where there are experiences that enrich kids lives and reinforce their identity as scientists and scholars.
