We need a logo that can stand alone with little to no words, think about the Lexus "L" logo on their cars, Apple, or Target and that can be scalable to be on a small oil change sticker about 4cm x 1.5 cm or scaled up for a exterior sign on the building. We strive to have new clients ( dual income professional households with kids and those going into that phase of life as well as those that have lived that phase) think about us as an alternative to going to a car dealership while offering a high quality maintenance and repair service for their luxury car while taking care of all their friends and family's cars too - so yes we work on many other make and model of vehicles for now. The no word logo can be complemented with our shop name, various contact methods such as phone, text, email, address when needed, but ideally can stand alone especially when space is limited for the area we have to display or represent our business. What little branding we have is orange on white or orange on black. We'd like to keep the orange. Keeping it clean and simple goes a long way to being able to put something on a glass window, a grey t-shirt or a white car. It's very easy to use some version of a car or car part for an auto repair shop. We'd like something that helps us stand out. Our existing car logo has been recreated a hundred times. Having the logo be able to be on different types/colors of backgrounds will be very helpful.
