- Our history is Native American. The outermost circle has four compass points that represent the four Catholic churches in out parish community. The Crooked Tree is a local folklore. This is a resort community with local native Americans. We live on the shores of Lake Michigan.
- Instructions：
- Please design the tree Figure. Thanks. Jesus is the “L’Abre Croche” (Crooked Tree). Our history is Native American. The outermost circle has four compass points that represent the four churches in out parish community. The Crooked Tree is a local folklore. The center image should depict an ancient tree with Limbs that are the arms of Christ reaching out and overhead, “wind-blown”. The sketch could use some roots and branches with leaves. Plea void any “Groot” references. The two arcs behind the tree represent the sun and the earth connected by the tree (branches above, roots below). The negative space between the sun and earth represents the beam of light coming from a local lighthouse.
