    Company Intro:
We are a wildlife conservation nonprofit focusing on overlooked species in underserved places by facilitating and engaging in education, stewardship, fiscal sponsorship, and research with local partners and an international network of conservationists, citizens, scientists, and photographers. Target audience is other conservationists, government stakeholders, and members of the public that care about nature. www.biodiversitygroup.org
    Instructions:
We are essentially wanting something that represents "life overlooked" which are species that don't receive adequate conservation attention such as frogs, lizards, bugs, fungi, etc. We have a rich history with frogs so we would like to use the Mindo glassfrog (picture attached) to represent all life overlooked. Side note - if fingers and toes are represented in the logo please ensure there are 4 fingers and 5 toes to keep it accurate, though sometimes a finger can get hidden behind the arm like in the photo. To represent all species, not just frogs, we were thinking to merge the frog with a "tree of life" which has a scientific meaning that encompasses all species. The tree of life in this context can look like a complicated suite of radiating brackets (a phylogenetic tree), but we are just wanting to use a normal tree. We are also partial to using negative space to illustrate the frog within the tree and perhaps other minimalist animal shapes could be hidden in the roots or branches. We would like this to be professional, modern, and organic/natural looking and we like the idea of having element(s) in the logo that are not immediately obvious to make it more visually interesting. Of the logos we chose here to represent what we like, The Tree of Living one with it's roots and branches encapsulated in a circle is something we could go for and Her Many Voices logo is the closest we've seen to something that would excite us since we also work across many continents.
