- Makeup Artistry business for media, bridal, theatrical clients
- Instructions:
- The inspiration is "theatre masks," traditionally seen as ugly gargoyles with a "happy" face on the left, and a "sad" face on the right. However, my Makeup Artistry work is versatile, from "beauty" looks to "theatrical" looks. I would like both the masks to be attractive in their own ways. The left side should represent the "beauty" look, and the right side to represent a playful "theatrical" look. The background should be white. Both should be abstract in basis and minimal in black lines representing facial features. The left "Beauty" side should have abstract, slight lines to represent the angle of the face, jaw line, chin, neck, cheek bone, nose, hair, but should feature pretty, glamorous (but tasteful) black curved eye lashes, and a bold, glamorous (but tasteful) hot pink lip with a highlighted patch of "shine." Almost in profile. The right "theatrical" side should be similarly abstract in terms of the minimal lines making up key facial features, but not the traditional ugly/gargoyle look. It should be playful with more loose, curvey features and a theatrical look, and a slight smile might be cute. A pale pink patch of color to show a rosy cheek would be appropriate, with a similar color of "blush" on the left "beauty" face. The theatrical face should have a pale pink "ribbon" flowing off the right side, as theatre masks always are shown with, or hung by, ribbons. I am undecided on whether to have a similar ribbon flowing off the left side of the beauty/human image, or perhaps a slight beaded-necklace look to represent "her" half. Let's see what you've got. Thank you! (Does the logo include only art design, or wording as well? If wording is possible, I would like a pretty-but-artsy font in black reading "Lisa G Makeup" on one line, and "Media - Bridal - Clinical - Theatrical Makeup" on another.) (Also--I wanted to include another inspiration image for the "left/beauty" face I have in mind, but it wouldn't let me. The attached inspirational image represents the theatrical face only, in the vision I have for my logo.)

- LHi Chris--I am still new to this process and am not quite sure how to add participation pay, or raise my award rate, at this stage. It's a holiday though, and I am under the gun to wrap up my own work early, today. I would like to try to select a winner after what looks like will likely be some revisions, by Monday, if possible. I will have to email you about how to implement the additional amount.
