We are a homeowner's association with approximately 60 residents in a gated community.
Instructions：
Our community originally was built where barn owls lived. So the original sign at the entrance had a barn owl perched on a tree branch. Since then, we have 'modernized' our community and that barn owl sign rotted out and was removed. Our gated entrance has a real neat, identifiable, "CF" on it (see pic). Would like a modern, homeowner association type logo the has the Gold 'CF' like in the gate, but then has some reference/identify/backdrop to the original barn owl concept. Maybe it's just two eyes, a beak, and outline or a owl head in the background, or something so we don't lose the heritage of our community (see pics as examples but doesn't have to be exactly like them, use your imagination). Also, would like to have a reference to a moon or moonlight. We are going to use the logo on our newsletters, our signage, and our new website we are developing. Prefer to remain with the gold/black color for CF, though reference to owl may be other colors. Want something that is simple, modern, relevant, recognizable, and looks good on community signage. Also, something that looks good when printed in black and white or displayed on website with a white background.
