I dont need the entire business name in the Logo, it could just be the letters Q and C
Look for ways to be warm, welcoming, denote the protection nature

Would like a CAT digger like what is pictured. In CAT yellow with all the detailing (tracks, rams, cab etc) in black. Would like the writing in Navy, nothing too bland. You can experiment with placement etc, we want one with a little bit more character than the one uploaded.  Also open to any other new ideas different to the one provided.

I'm looking for the same basic color scheme used in the current logos for the blog and Podcast. Current samples are attached for reference.
Colors #3d4643 and c45231.

Whatever the final result, I'd like to know what's involved in obtaining a reverse version of the same logo, so I have an option to use one for the other, depending on whether the background is light or dark.

These will be used on the course's webpages.
