- Logo Name:
- JOY SPREADER
- Company Intro:
- Company Joy Spreader (joyspreader.org) is a movement and apparel brand that recognizes and celebrates people who spread kindness and positivity. Wearing a Joy Spreader shirt is both a personal reminder to shine and a way to publicly recognize others who are doing great things. Audience All ages — kids, parents, and grandparents alike wear our apparel. The logo needs to feel welcoming and legible to a 7-year-old and a 70-year-old, not skew too young/cartoonish or too corporate/serious. Brand personality Positive, warm, uplifting energy. Genuine rather than saccharine — this is about real acts of kindness, not empty positivity. Think: sunshine, light, warmth, community. Critical requirement: apparel printing This logo's primary use is screen-printed on t-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel. It must: Stay crisp and readable at small chest-print size Work as a two-color print, yellow and white (avoid fine gradients, thin hairlines, or intricate detail that will blur on fabric) Read clearly from a distance Style direction Simple, iconic, and easy to recognize at a glance A mark that could work as a standalone badge/emblem (with or without wordmark) — something that feels like a symbol of recognition, not just a company name Open to iconography around light, sun, or spark imagery, but not required — happy to see interpretations beyond the literal Open to either an icon + wordmark combo or a wordmark-only treatment — no preference, submit whichever serves the design best
- Instructions:
- UPDATED: We like this attachment the best as it represents the sun more. Please provide a few more variations similar to this one. Remove DO GREAT THINGS going forward as we only want to focus on Joy Spreader. We also want to see JOY above SPREADER as we think the name will be too long like this. Not sure of the placement so please try some options. What we need An updated logo for Joy Spreader. It needs to work as a badge of recognition — something that feels good to wear, gift, and be given by someone else as a way of saying "I see you spreading joy." What to avoid Overly childish or "kiddie" styling Overly corporate/sterile feel Complex detail, gradients, or fine lines that won't survive screen printing Clichéd stock imagery (generic sun bursts, smiley faces) Colors: Yellow and white only — no black or navy. Font: Archivo Black Reference points Our previous logo included the tagline "Do Great Things" — we are NOT keeping that tagline. Starting fresh. Company name to use: Joy Spreader
