The French Cooking Experience is an atelier offering cooking classes to a wide range of clients, from corporate team-building classes to children's classes. The target audience is anyone wanting to learn classical French cooking techniques from experienced professional chefs, but looking for a more upscale experience. We are geared more towards tourists and visitors looking to explore French history and who have a love for classical French cuisine. Our classes take place in the heart Versailles, a short walk away from the famous Palace, and from the celebrated Versailles food market. The classes offered will include a visit to the food market to learn how to select ingredients and craft recipes around the best products available each season. The atelier itself is inspired by the Versailles Palace, the interior being both welcoming and luxurious, with an entrance inspired by the Versailles Gardens and kitchens inspired by famous rooms within the Palace. As a special note, children's classes will be accompanied by a mascot who teaches the children about the history of Versailles in a child-friendly way. We therefore want to maintain an esthetic that is polished and luxurious but that remains warm, as opposed to intimidating.
