- Logo Name:
- DividendVPP
- Company Intro:
- DividendVPP is a smart energy service that helps your battery do more than just store backup power—it earns money for you. While most virtual power plants (VPPs) simply wait for grid events and respond through basic software, DividendVPP goes further. It works both in the cloud and at your home, combining live local control with smart forecasting to make real-time decisions—when to store energy, when to use it, and when to sell it back to the grid. The result? Up to 2 to 4 times more earnings than a typical battery setup. Whether it's sunny or stormy, DividendVPP constantly evaluates grid demand, electricity prices, and your energy usage to squeeze the most value out of every kilowatt-hour. If you're considering solar and battery storage, DividendVPP turns that system into a true income-generating asset—not just a backup plan.
- Instructions:
- DividendVPP Logo Design Brief Overview: DividendVPP is a product-level brand—a software-defined, revenue-optimized virtual power plant platform created through a collaboration between Molecule Systems and Lightsmith. While the two companies maintain their own corporate brands, DividendVPP is a standalone product name that needs its own clean, modern identity. The name "DividendVPP" already communicates value (dividends = earnings), so we’re looking for a design that amplifies—not complicates—this idea. Simplicity, modernity, and flexibility are key. Tone & Style Preferences: Modern & Clean: No heavy shadows, gradients, or ornate fonts. Trustworthy & Smart: Avoid anything cartoonish or overly playful. Subtle Tech Vibe: This is advanced software, but it’s also consumer-facing—walk the line between sophistication and accessibility. Flexible Layouts: Must work in both horizontal and stacked formats. Logo Treatment Options: We’d like to explore three directions: Wordmark Only Clean typography, with possible use of color or subtle typographic variation to create visual interest. E.g., play with emphasis on “Dividend” vs. “VPP” (color weight, spacing, or case shifts). Be cautious: avoid overly gimmicky type manipulations. Wordmark + Minimal Icon An accompanying symbol that can sit to the left or above the text for stacked versions. Icon should be abstract or symbolic (no battery or specific hardware references). Suggestions: something that evokes flow, orchestration, signal, optimization, or dynamic value—not literal electricity or power symbols. Icon should also work as a standalone app icon or favicon. Embedded Graphic Letterform If experimenting with a graphical treatment within the wordmark (e.g., integrating a subtle arrow or motion element into a letterform), keep it minimal and purposeful. Tagline Usage: Tagline: Energy that earns Use Capital for Energy and the rest lowercase. May also want to see all lowercase. No punctuation in either Typography should complement the main logo without overpowering it In layouts, the tagline should be clearly legible at small sizes Color Preferences: We’ve experimented with dual-tone blues (see attached screenshot), but are open to: Cool-toned color palettes (blues, teals, grays) that signal trust and intelligence Avoid: overly bright or warm colors (orange, red), which could clash with the brand’s calm and intelligent tone Colors should support accessibility and contrast requirements (e.g., dark mode adaptability). What to Avoid: Literal depictions of batteries, plugs, solar panels, etc. Clip-art-style graphics or skeuomorphic icons Overly complex or illustrative treatments that won’t scale well Designs that look too corporate/enterprise (remember: the target user is a consumer) Design Applications to Keep in Mind: The logo will be used on: Web platforms and mobile interfaces Printed marketing collateral Email campaigns Potentially an app or portal login It should be scalable and legible even at small sizes
