MTPA, Stage 1

Maryland Theatre for the Performing Arts is opening in our town in 2020. In the meantime, we would like to start up a series of performing arts events on the property which consists of a stage and a microphone on a rolling grassy lawn. Eventually we will have a tent, so it's ok to include in the design. The events will be presented by MTPA, but the series and the venue will be known as Stage 1 until construction begins on the building.

Maryland Theatre for the Performing Arts is opening in our town in 2020. In the meantime, we would like to start up a series of performing arts events on the property which consists of a stage and a microphone on a rolling grassy lawn. Instructions
The events will be all kinds of performing arts from concerts to film and dance. We will have to have the MTPA logo in with the Stage 1 name. I thought the 1 could be a microphone. My favorite logos are the Movies on the Farm, Brews & Views and Eaton Rapids because of their rustic, artsy look; and they will look great printed on t shirts. I chose the Front of the House because it looks like a marquee, and I like the circle of lights on the last one. I am thinking a spotlight or row of lights, a microphone, stage and rolling green lawn will be the main imagery.

Hi, while I like a few of the designs, overall I am very disappointed in the results. 6 of them did not even include the original MTPA logo which I attached and explained had to be incorporated into the design. Maybe I wasn't clear enough? Also, the last time I did a contest, I got what seemed like hundreds of entries. Maybe my timing was bad this time because of summer vacations? This contest is for a non-profit organization, so I hate to ask them for more money to extend the contest. Is there anything you can do to help? Thanks so much for your consideration.

Hi Amy, we'd love to work with you further on this. Perhaps the project being not guaranteed made it a little less appealing to some designers.

what do you mean by guaranteed? Is that an upgrade, and if so, how much? Thanks.

Hi Amy, guaranteed contests are the ones that are paid in full from the outset. Designers get the impressions that such contests are the ones that are likely to select a winner. Please contact support for more info.
