State of Place

It’s a data analytics platform that helps cities and social impact stakeholders make smarter planning, economic development, and investment decisions. We collect on-the-ground data about the built environment (like sidewalks, benches, trees, building facades, crosswalks, etc.) and from that derive the State of Place Index: a score from 0-100 that measures place quality, along ten urban design dimensions empirically tied to quality of life and walkability. The State of Place Index classifies both existing places and projected projects’ assets and needs, helping to identify the most effective community interventions and investments, based on their performance, budget, capacity, feasibility, and stakeholder feedback.

    Instructions
My startup quantifies the aspects of cities everyone loves - what makes people want to walk, linger, sit and enjoy spaces - into a score from 0 to 100 that allows cities to choose the most optimal strategies to make their neighborhoods better. So we essentially make the intangible, tangible, so that our customers can make smarter decisions about urban planning and identify the investments that will have the most bang for their buck. Because of that, I'd like the logo to capture our balance between intangible and tangible, between data/evidence-based decision making and beautiful, human scaled cities. I've been playing with the concept "life between buildings" - sort of capturing the human and the built environment together, like a perspective of a streetscape...I've also played around with the idea of a street grid...and finally playing with the S, O, and P to make it look like an intersection...

Hi all, please stop using the S O P initials as the main focus of the logo. That's not the style I am looking for.
