1. We are a jazz swing band. We play music that people dance to. Logo should have feeling of movement. Type should be on a curvy path, not a straight line. 
 
2. I’ve asked for symbol or illustration. Without art or illustration there is nothing to say that Mood Swing is a music band. Appropriate artistic elements include a sax, stand up bass, musical notes or a G-clef, etc. Not a rock band. 
 
4. I’ve also asked for color. Feel free to pick whichever color(s) you think might work. Shading and gradient color also give a feeling of movement. 
 
To summarize ... 
1. We want a feeling of movement. This can be accomplished if type is, well, moving. Like on a curvy path. Not in a straight line. 
2. Art or symbol must be incorporated to show that Mood Swing is about music. It needs to be very simple but something indicating music, and jazz swing music in particular.
