NOAA Aircraft Operations Center
We are the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Aircraft Operations Center (AOC), based on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fl. We are more commonly known as the NOAA Hurricane Hunters (http://www.aoc.noaa.gov/). Besides the famous Hurricane Hunters, we also have a fleet of smaller aircraft that fly around the world conducting scientific missions.
