Australian Lebanese Hawkers Rugby Union Football Club
We are an Rugby club made up of players of Australian Lebanese descent. Our club is an invitational club that will play a limited number of games per year and whose players will become eligible to play for the Lebanese National Rugby Team. We have called the team the Hawkers to honour the memory of the early Lebanese settlers who arrived in Australia and who traditionally worked as hawkers throughout the Australian countryside hawking and selling their wares off the back of their wagons, providing a valuable service to many rural and isolated communities.- $129
