Team Iron Lung
I am a distance runner, and I dedicate my running to a young man who is unable to run (wheel chair bound). We are part of an organization called "I run for..." Well, I run for Daniel. We want to create a logo/ emblem that signifies our partnership. He cheers me on... I dedicate my runs to him. This young man is really into super heroes, Iron Man specifically. The name "Team Iron Lung" was his idea. He has been unable to breathe on his own his whole life (13 years), but he is on medication that the family hopes will someday allow him to breathe without mechanical aid. Until then, I run for him.. in hopes that someday he will run on his own. I love this kid, who I have only known for a year. I would do anything for him.- $129
