Clean, simple. I want to communicate optimism (yellow), hope (green), calm, and serenity (blue).   My office colors are blue, green, and cream, with a lot of plants and a huge, central painting of the surface of water.  Since many of my clients are coping with life-altering events, the duality of destruction and creativity, growth out of devastation, calm in the storm--this are often themes in therapy. I don&#39;t want a tree--this seems to be a common theme for therapists.
