We&#39;d like a logo for the race (sailing) boat which can also be used on crew clothing. For robustness logos on sailing clothing tend to be embroidered so a logo that is an outline or contains clean lines is better than something with shading or in-fill. Also limiting it to one or two colours keeps embriodery costs down. 
 
Boat name is Mighty Max 2 
Our racing number (sail number) is GBR8383R 
It is a PRIMA38 yacht and we race in the UK and France 
The hull of the boat is white 
 
A bit cheesy maybe, but we quite like the tag line &quot;Sail it to the Max!&quot; (Or &quot;Sail it 2 the Max&quot;) 
 
Ideally the format for crew clothing would be a logo, perhaps incorporating the name Mighty Max2, underneath it GBR8383R and then the tag line &quot;Sail it to the Max!&quot; 
 
On the boat itself we would probably just use the logo on both sides. The name is already on the back and the sail number is - well, on the sails of course! 
 
On the crew clothing (e.g. polo shirts) we&#39;d probably have the name and sail number fairly small as embriodered font on the left hand breast area. Then the logo and strap line embriodered on the back. 
 
The logo could play around with ideas of strength (Mighty) or taking something to the limits (Max). 
 
Or the whole thing could just be text based.
